ATLANTA, GA – Representative Leesa Hagan (R-Lyons) completed the year-long Republican Leadership for Georgia (RLG) training program last week in Atlanta. The series of seminars is designed to cultivate and enhance leadership skills within the party. It prepares graduates to uphold GOP values and effectively serve their communities as both grassroots volunteers and elected officials.
Throughout the intensive program, participants met in ten locations around the state. In addition to covering topics such as party organization, the comprehensive curriculum also included targeted communication and campaign strategies. Participants collaborated with experienced mentors, attended workshops led by political experts, and engaged in scenario-based training exercises.
Expressing her gratitude for the invaluable experience provided by RLG, Rep. Hagan stated, “Ensuring strong leadership within the Republican Party is crucial for the future success of our state and nation. RLG has been invaluable in equipping us with new skills and knowledge to better serve our constituents and uphold our shared values.”
Previously known as the Coverdell Leadership Institute, Republican Leadership for Georgia is renowned for its rigorous standards and commitment to fostering the next generation of conservative leaders. By completing this program, Rep. Hagan joins a distinguished group of alumni who are making significant contributions to their communities and the Republican Party.
Rep. Hagan looks forward to applying the knowledge and skills acquired from RLG to her work in the Georgia House and encouraging Republicans to seek office. She remains committed to promoting policies that support rural economic growth, public safety, and the well-being of all Georgians.
